Hi! I'm Giulia Bartra-Howe, a Nuke Compositor, Project Lead, Flame Timeline Lead, and Photographer specializing in commercial visual effects with a passion for beauty and fashion work.

Born in Peru and raised in South Florida, I earned my BFA in Visual Effects and Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. My background in both visual effects and photography has shaped the way I approach compositing, giving me a strong eye for detail, composition, color, and visual storytelling.

Based in New York City, I work as a Nuke Compositor and Flame Lead at Artjail, with a primary focus on commercials and occasional work in television. I've had the privilege of working with brands including Tom Ford, Tiffany & Co., CoverGirl, Pantene, and more.

In addition to compositing, I've had the opportunity to lead commercial projects, coordinate with production, support artists, and help guide projects from kickoff through final delivery. I believe the best visual effects come from clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and strong collaboration. Whether I'm compositing shots or leading a team, my goal is always the same: to create beautiful work while making the process enjoyable for everyone involved.

Outside of visual effects, I enjoy singing, painting, and exploring new creative outlets. I love collaborating with talented people, building lasting relationships, and bringing creative ideas to life. I'm always excited to see what the next project brings.
